To protect themselves from an outside world in crisis, a king and his followers have withdrawn to a safe, secure castle. To make alleviate the worries of his guests, he has provided all means of entertainment: an orchestra plays the music, a ballerina dances, a fool jokes and a pope prays. There is abundance, beauty, wine… A bizarre masked ball… In seven rooms – each decorated in a different colour – guests are immersed in exceptional splendour. But the last room is different.
